The potassium monohydrogen sulfate is KHSO5,commonly used as swimming pools,spa disinfectants and denture cleaners,etc.While potassium shortage in Chinese nature resource and its thermosensitive compounds are currently as the most critical issues facing this disinfectant.Hence,this article conducted a novel synthesis method of the potassium monohydrogen disulfide disinfectant using sodium,striving to reduce the amount of potassium and improve the active oxygen content in the resulting product.As sodium metal is an abundant resource in China with similar chemical properties as potassium.Compared with potassium compounds,sodium compounds are relatively stable,and its preparation process is more straightforward and efficient.Based on the generation principle of potassium bisulfate compound salt,in this article,hydrogen peroxide,sulfuric acid,potassium carbonate,and sodium carbonate are used as material,to successfully produce a highly active potassium monohydrogen sulfate disinfectant under a lower consumption.Also,its optimum conditions are determined through a single-factor experiments and orthogonal tests.To be more specific,when the molar ratio of 50% hydrogen peroxide to concentrated sulfuric acid is 1:1,the peroxidation temperature is-4 °C,then the potassium bisulphate complex salt potassium carbonate and concentrated sulphuric acid have a molar ratio of 0.65:1,neutralization reaction temperature is 7 °C;And the molar ratio of sodium carbonate to concentrated sulfuric acid is 0.8:1,neutralization temperature is 9 °C;After drying at 50℃,The mass ratio of the mixed salt of potassium bisulfate and sodium persulfate is 3:2.As a result,the potassium monopersulfate disinfectant blended with sodium bisulphate complex salt has higher active oxygen content than traditional potassium monopersulfate salt.In addition,this article carried out the project design of 300 t annual production of potassium monohydrogen disinfectant on the basis of the above experiment.After determining the process flow,material balance for each unit operation was done,and then a material flow chart was drawn.Subsequently,the specifications and types of major equipment were regulated through selection calculation,then followed by a summarized list,design control plan,and pipelines and instrument flow charts(P&ID).Finally,the layout of equipment and pipe design in plant were completed. |
