Pressure sensitive adhesives are widely used in daily life and many industries,especially adhesive tape,label,protective film,electric power,automobile and medical industry.At present,the acrylate emulsion pressure sensitive adhesive has attracted more and more attention because of its non-toxic,environmentally friendly,moderate price and good adhesive performance.Due to the nature of straight chain molecular structure of polyacrylate emulsifier and polymerization process determines the emulsion acrylate pressure sensitive adhesive cohesion exists insufficiency,removability,poor water resistance and peel strength,initial bonding strength is insufficient,so that the application is subject to certain restrictions,is no substitute for solvent based acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive pollution on the environment.In order to improve its comprehensive performance and meet the requirements of production and life,it is particularly important to modify acrylate emulsion pressure sensitive adhesive,improve its water resistance and adhesion performance,and make its performance meet the needs of real life.N-hydroxymethyl acrylamide(N-MAM)as crosslinking monomer,butyl glucoside maleate(BGMAH)as emulsifier of acrylate emulsion were cross-linked with reactive emulsifier modified by pre emulsified semi continuous seed emulsion polymerization.The structure was characterized,and the particle size of emulsion was determined.The water resistance and solid content of latex film were measured.The bonding properties of pressure-sensitive adhesive tape such as initial viscosity,holding viscosity,high temperature holding viscosity and 180 degree peel strength were tested.N-MAM was used as an internal crosslinker,and BGMAH was modified as a reactive emulsifier for polyacrylate emulsion.The particle size and the particle size of emulsion were measured.The water resistance and solid content of latex film were measured.The bonding properties of pressure-sensitive adhesive tape such as initial viscosity,holding viscosity,high temperature holding viscosity and 180 degree peel strength were tested.It is compared with a single modified acrylate emulsion pressure sensitive adhesive.
