| Petroleum energy dominates the development of many sectors such as the economy,transportation,and chemical industry,and is called the "blood of industry." The oil industry occupies an indispensable position in the world economy.With the ever-growing economy,the world’s demand for oil is also intensifying.In China,with the continuous exploitation of petroleum,the oil resources in some oil fields have already reached a depleted state,and most of the oil fields are in a state of high water content.The study of the measurement method for the moisture content of high-water-containing crude oil is of great significance to the exploitation of oil fields.The current method for measuring the moisture content of crude oil was studied,and various measurement methods and current advantages and disadvantages of the crude oil moisture content measuring instruments at home and abroad were summarized.Finally,the water content of crude oil was measured by the capacitance method.The measurement principle of measuring the moisture content of crude oil by capacitance method was studied.A measuring method for the structure of multi-layer cylindrical capacitance sensor was proposed to measure the high water content of crude oil.According to the selection of the mixture and the effective permittivity calculation model,the model calculates the cartridge between the capacitance value of the capacitive sensor to establish a water content of crude oil.Based on the theoretical analysis,using the COMSOL simulation software,the overall electric potential distribution and other sensor characteristics are simulated and calculated.The theoretical feasibility of measuring the high water content of crude oil by capacitance method was verified through the study of the calculation results.Structure simulation by using the determined parameter,the structural design of the sensor is optimized.Improve the Accuracy of Measuring the High Water Content of Crude Oil by Capacitance Method.For the measurement system of water content,a hardware design was performed,and a measurement system for controlling the moisture content using a single-chip microcomputer was provided.Signal acquisition and signal processing modules,including a capacitance measurement module and a temperature detection module,were also provided.Finally,a static experiment was designed to measure the capacitance of the sensor at different temperatures with different moisture contents.Through the analysis of the experimental data,the calculation between the capacitance value and the moisture content was proposed.The model is verified to prove that the calculation model is practical for the actual measurement result and the calculation error is small.Finally,the calculation model is modified to confirm the final model.It can be seen from the experimental results that the use of capacitance method to measure the high water content of crude oil has certain feasibility and accuracy. |
