Sulfur type extreme pressure abrasion resistance agent are mostly raw material preparation and mercaptan and olefins,this will cause pollution of the environment at the same time consume a large amount of petroleum and chemical products,along with the people environmental protection consciousness enhancement and the exhaustion of resources,the development of natural raw material preparation of sulfur extreme pressure antiwear agent is of great significance to the national economy and society.This paper for the first time with cashew phenol and elemental sulfur as raw materials,thiourea as a promoter and growth chain alkyl sulfide,more as extreme pressure resistant additives in lubricant base oil to study the performance of extreme pressure,anti-wear performance and corrosion resistance.In the synthetic experiments respectively to examine the reaction time,reaction temperature,promoting agent and ratio of reactants on the effect of sulfur content in the product,and through infrared spectrum and the mass spectrometry has carried on the qualitative analysis to the product.The properties of the long chain alkyl polysulfide are tested under extreme pressure,wear resistance,wear resistance and corrosion resistance.In order to study the anti-wear mechanism of long chain alkyl polysulfide,wear surface analysis and thermal film and friction film XANES analysis of long chain alkyl polysulfide are also carried out.According to infrared analysis and mass spectrometry,cashew phenol was transformed into long chain alkyl polysulfide.By studying the influence of reaction conditions growing involution chain alkyl sulfide and concluded in this topic experiment scheme optimum reaction temperature is 140~160 ℃,the optimum reaction time is 3 h,promoter of thiourea and cashew phenol optimum molar ratio 0.4,elemental sulfur with the best mole ratio was 2.2 cashew phenol.By four-ball friction test is more than the preparation of long chain alkyl sulfide has good extreme pressure,abrasion,in w(additive)< 1.0% or higher and load of 490 n conditions can significantly improve the base oil antiwear and antifriction performance.Through the corrosion test of copper piece and the microscopic analysis of the surface morphology of the grinding spot,it is found that it has good corrosion resistance.On the analysis of the friction and heat membranes show that the merits of the extreme pressure antiwear additive anti-wear performance related to the proportion of the friction film of oxide and sulfide,when the proportion of the appropriate additive has good anti-wear effect.
