The Women’s Clothing Research Of Shui Nationality In Sandu,GuiZhou

Shui Nationality has a long history and profound background.Due to unique aesthetic value and precious cultural research value,it has become an important asset in the minority culture of China.In addition it provides important reference value for the in-depth study of minority culture in our country.The author has repeatedly visited the Shui Nationality Community in Sandu Shui Autonomous County of Guizhou Province to obtain primary information.By analyzing historical records,as well as combining the local Research Institution of Shui Nationality Culture and the heritage and achievement of protection work of the Center of Intangible Culture Heritage.The author collated many related pictures and texts of Shui Nationality women’s clothing.This article discussed the garment accessories,craftsmanship,wearing customs,and wearing status of Sandu Shui women.And conducted a more detailed sorting and research.It can be divided into five categories according to the geographical area.According to age,it is divided into children’s clothes,girl’s clothes,young women’s clothes and elderly clothes.According to the wearing occasion,it is divided into daily clothes and rich dress.The tops are divided intothe right lapel with slant front and the placket of symmetry.And the bottoms is mainly on pants.Skirts is not so much and generally appeared as rich dress.Garment accessories are mainly divided into silver jewelry and embroidery accessories.The Shui Nationality is good at using decoration craft such as dipdye,embroidery and weaving to show their worship for totem.The moon and stars,birds and animals,flowers and insects are all reflected in their garment accessories.Finally through contrastive analysis the similarities and differences of Sandu Shui Nationality with the Miao Nationality and Gugan Shui Nationality,the author got the development status of its clothing.And discussed the best idea about the protection of Shui Nationality women’s clothes,the imagine of inheritance and the development of future.
