Angle grinder is a handle hold power tool which be used in industry,its main application is surface finishing for parts such as metal and stone construction for grinding,cutting,polishing,cleaning,trimming.Small angle grinder is widely used in various fields with its compact size,convenient application,wide applicability and good economy,and its usage is much higher than that of other kinds of corner grinder.Because of the size advantage,and users in the application of diversification,a lot of this should be using the medium angle grinder specifications,users increasingly expect small angle grinding can be completed,the angle grinder load increasing,overload burned cases occur frequently,serious destruction of electrical insulation and harm to user's safety.The purpose of this thesis is to make out an optimal design for temperature rise and overload burnt issue on existing small angle grinder,reduce the risk of product failure and improve customer satisfaction.In summary,the main contents of the thesis include:(1)The overall design and analysis,according to the existing product advantage and customer demand as the starting point for analysis,analysis of the main forms and reasons of customer complaints and product market overload failure,analysis of product structure,analysis of the main factors influencing the overload performance and related components,the motor temperature rise is a major cause of overload.In the existing product size constraints,optimize the design to improve the internal ventilation fan,optimization of the parameters of the motor,reducing the mechanical friction heat to improve the direction.(2)The optimal design of the fan,to study the theory of centrifugal fan,according to the main parameters that affect the Euler equation of air flow of the fan and lift,and the effects of leaf type,in combination with the experience of a wide range of applications.The existing centrifugal fan in the blade height,the air inlet and outlet angle and blade shape optimization.(3)The optimization of motor system mainly focuses on how to improve the power of series motor,optimize the winding process and reduce the heat generated by electrical spark and mechanical friction.(4)With CATIA,build 3D model of fan,update the overall design of products,simulate and analyze the change of ventilation volume through software,and provide theoretical basis for later experimental data.Using the rapid prototyping equipment to make the fan solid model,combined with the optimized motor,assemble the whole machine to carry out the actual test,complete the Air Flow,motor temperature rise test and motor overload capacity test.The feasibility of the whole optimization scheme is verified,and the desired optimal design requirements are fully met.
