Study On The Strategy Of Copper Industry In Yingtan City

Copper resources have the characteristics of heat conduction,electrical conduction,anti-wear,and easy transformation.They are important strategic resources for science and technology industries around the world at the current stage and directly affect the country's national lifeline and national security.Therefore,from the development of a country's copper industry,we can understand its level of industrial development and the status of national economic development.The city of Yingtan in Jiangxi Province is known as the "Chinese copper capital" and the copper industry is a characteristic pillar industry in the city.It is also the first industry in Jiangxi Province with the main business income of over 100 million yuan.The city has long formed an integrated copper industry chain of production,smelting and processing,from the upstream copper exploration,ore mining,beneficiation and scrap copper decomposition to the middle reaches of copper smelting,extending to the middle reaches of copper refining,and then to the downstream refined copper processing industry.The clustering and project clustering effects have also constantly increased.However,since 2013,due to the macroeconomic downturn and overcapacity in the copper industry,a large number of rough copper processing companies in Yingtan are facing capacity-defying difficulties.Furthermore,with a shortage of copper resources in Yingtan and the relocation of Jiangxi copper industry co.LTD crowning the city,the development bottleneck of the copper industry in the city initially appeared.This article aims to take a broad view to the development trend of the copper industry in the province and the whole country on the basis of deepening investigation,and research copper industry development strategy in Yingtan coupled with facts.In this paper,the current status of the development of copper industry in Yingtan is reviewed through the related indicators and survey results of the copper industry in Yingtan.The SWOT analysis method is used to summarize the strengths,weaknesses,opportunities,and threats of the development of the copper industry in Yingtan by way of SWOT matrix.Through the analysis of the direction,idea and focus of development in the next phase of the copper industry in Yingtan,relevant policies and suggestions are proposed from such aspects as strengthen development and deployment,expanding the market of copper products,innovating technology,enhancing the agglomeration effect,accelerating the formation of industrial chains,strengthening the discourse of international copper pricing,and establishing fluctuation monitoring and early warning mechanism of copper price.The full text has a practically significant implication in breaking through the development bottleneck of the copper industry in Yingtan.
