Controller of CNC gear measuring center is the core of gear measuring center.The advantage of controller’s function and performance represents the advantage of the gear measuring center.With the continuous development of gear measurement center technology,the controller is also need constantly to upgrade.Therefore,it is of great significance to develop a new integrated controller for the development of gear measurement center.A special integrated controller has been developed in this project,which is independent of the computer bus system,functions enhanced,and Ethernet communication with the computer.Its characteristics are high integration,low reliance on the upper computer,networking,convenient again development,interface compatibility with the application program of the upper computer,and compatible with the original hardware interface.The main contents in the project includes hardware and software.In the hardware,the improvement of the degree of controller integration and the optimization of bus upgrading have been studied.The integration degree has been improved by using high performance integrated chip FPGA.At the same time,the bus between each module has been optimized.In the software,by using the embedded processor ARM9,redistributing the function with the upper and lower compute.The controller becomes the center of the measurement control system,no longer the computer.The computer only maintains the man-machine interface,the calculation and the measurement report printing function.The core of the measurement control has been moved down to the controller.In order reduce the number of communication times,the controller realizes the independent operation of the hardware,analyzes the state in the measurement process,and reports the results to the upper computer after completion.Because of the heavy workload of the underlying development,this projectimproves the underlying software development platform for subsequent software development.The design of hardware and software has been completed by experimental verification.The idea has been realized that hardware integration and software architecture design.
