Prediction and evaluation of regional air pollutant emission and dispersion is significant for the control of atmospheric environment quality.CALPUFF is the predication model for regional air quality modeling recommended by national environmental standard.The input parameters are transferred to CALPUFF modeling software by text file containing control commands and the results need to be handled by third-part software,which can't display pollution distribution on map.Due to the spatial characteristics of pollution sources and pollutant distribution,geographic information system(GIS)is required to support air quality modeling systems.A regional air pollution prediction software based on CALPUFF model and GIS them was developed to meet the requirement of user friendly interfaces for data input and post processing of regional air quality modeling.This work includes the following three parts:(1)A software for regional air quality simulation was developed based on CALPUFF model and ArcGIS using C#.The developed software simplified the parameter input result representation by visual interfaces and provide map support for post processing of pollution distribution.(2)The developed software was used to simulate atmospheric pollution in a region around a city(the name was hidden on purpose),taking into account industrial pollution emissions data and road traffic in the area,corresponded terrain and meteorological data.The simulated air pollution results were compared with actual monitoring values,and the reasons of the difference were analyzed.(3)The emission at each sub-area was calculated using the pollution sources located in that sub-area,and the pollution concentrations contribution rates of the sources sub-areas to the entire area were analyzed.The influence factors of air pollution in the area were analyzed considering the terrain and meteorological data and Hysplit backward trajectory analysis results,and pollution reduction solution was suggested.
