| Bamboo pallet is a new type of green pallet with great market potential.In recent years,bamboo pallet products are increasingly recognized by people because of the efforts of domestic scholars and their good performance.However,there are not standardized production process and uniform testing methods of bamboo pallet,so how to effectively advance the standardized application of it is still under discussion.Therefore,this paper chooses the testing methods and standard application of bamboo pallet as research cores in order to provide reference for relevant methods.In addition,this paper also provides standardization reference of production process and application of bamboo pallet.Based on literature review of relevant fields,this paper studies the property testing methods and standard application of bamboo pallet by means of literature analysis,mathematical and mechanical models,test method,etc.major research results are as follows:1.Bamboo is an ideal material for making pallet because of its good physical and mechanical properties.Specifically,this material also has physical properties such as good hardness and strength.The analysis of the average distributed load and concentrated load and the bending test of bamboo models shows that average bending strength and MOE are 97.4MPa and 9.7×103MPa respectively,which are higher than average wood materials.Good properties above are basic traits of bamboo,what’s more,its characteristics of fast growth,wide distribution and numerous types ensure its availability and sustainability.2.Good mechanical properties of bamboo plywood meet the needs of making bamboo pallets.Bamboo plywood,the major form of industrial application of bamboo,is also the basic material for making bamboo pallets.The bamboo plywood is better than traditional wood plywood.Therefore,it is feasible to make bamboo pallets in bamboo plywood.3.The paper puts forward the basic method for performance testing of bamboo pallet.Combining the actual working condition of bamboo pallet,the paper selects some representative items for performance test,such as stacking test,bending test,forklifting test,bottom plating bending test,bottom deck bending test,corner drop test and top deck edge impact test,etc.The result indicates that the bamboo pallet is good enough for logistics operations.4.Proposals of standardized process and application for making bamboo pallets are provided.The standardization of technological process includes plank production and beam production.In light of standardization of application,the paper takes the application efficiency of bamboo pallets of Changsha City,Hunan Province as an example,which shows that the application efficiency is considerable if the whole Changsha City implements standardization of bamboo pallet.The government and enterprises should advocate the standardization of application and promotion of bamboo pallets.Only in this way can we ensure the promotion of standardization of bamboo pallets.The result of the research is of great reference value for the enrichment of content,standard application and industrial development of bamboo pallets.In addition,it also promotes the updating of logistics pallet,accelerates the recycling of pallet products and improves the efficiency and effectiveness of logistics operations. |
