Traffic accident,accident,disease and surgical causes skin tissue trauma and bone tissue trauma,which need to be properly repaired.The surgical adhesives material has been developed rapidly due to surgical suture,bone nails and other traditional methods need to remove.Inspired by the mussel foot protein,and the biomimetic adhesives containing catechol has attracted much attention.In this paper,we first reviewed the biomimetic polymer adhesives containing catechol in recent years,especially for chitosan,alginate,heparin and other modified natural macromolecule biomimetic adhesives,whose advantages and disadvantages are described.We put forward to the paper's research basis and idea.Inspired by the mussel foot protein the and chitosan-based macromolecular adhesives,in this paper,a series of chitosan-g-peptides were synthesized by ring-opening polymerization of 3,4-dihydroxyphenylalanine-NCA(DOPA-NCA),cysteine-NCA(Cys-NCA)and arginine-NCA(Arg-NCA)using chitosan retaining part of the amino group as initiator.The structure,average molecular weight,its distribution,degradation and cytotoxicity of the obtained polymer were tested by ~1H NMR,light scattering,dialysis,MTT and so on.The results showed that the polymer structure was consistent with the expected result,excellent degradation property and lower cytotoxicity.The adhesion strength of the polymers were studied by optimizing the ratio of amino groups in the polymer,the concentration of the polymer,the concentration of the curing agent,the ratio of the functional groups,the curing temperature and time on fresh pig skin and porcine femur.The results showed that the adhesion strength could reach 195.97 kPa on the porcine skin and the 566.4 kPa on the porcine bone after the introduction of cysteine.After further introduction of arginine,the adhesion strength reached a maximum of 204 kPa on porcine skin,and a maximum of 642.7 kPa on porcine bone.Finally,the rat model of show that the polymer can effectively promote skin wound healing and fracture healing,while the polymer also showed good hemostatic performance.It is expected that such polymer adhesives will have broad application prospects in soft tissue adhesions,bone repair and hemostasis.The polymer adhesives containing catechol can also be used for metal adhesion.In order to extend the application of the obtained adhesives,this paper also tests the adhesion strength of the above polymers.The effects of amino ratio,polymer concentration,concentration of curing agent,ratio of functional groups and curing temperature and curing time on were discussed.The results show that the adhesion strength of chitosan containing catechol group can reach 1.86MPa.After the introduction of mercapto group,the adhesion strength reaches the maximum value of3.08MPa,which is close to the cyanoacrylate adhesive.These copolymers are expected to be used in the manufacture of aerospace aircraft,the assembly of the automobile industry,the manufacture of light industrial machinery,and the packaging of the electronics industry.
