The Study And Application Of Formate Drilling Fluid System In Block MU-55

The drilling system is designed according to the geological conditions and drilling technology difficulties of blocks mu-55.This paper makes clear the working principle of formate drilling fluid system,optimizes and evaluates all kinds of treating agents through indoor experiments.Through a lot of indoor-experiments,we selecti and performance carefully of the system's evaluation and admixture,and through the orthogonal experiment method to optimizing the system formula of the added amount of admixture,finally formate drilling fluid formula was confirmed as the following:5% Sodium formate +1.0%CWS-1+0.5%CAL-90+0.3%XC+0.5%PAC+5%JJFT+3% DRH3 D.The characteristics of the system has stable properties,good rheological property,high mechanical drilling rate,and strong anti-collapse inhibition,which can stabilize the borehole and meet the requirements of design and drilling operation for blocks mu-55.The formate drilling fluid system has a good application effect on Fang-148 block and Hailar block,so it has a good development potential and application prospect.
