The process of production for traditional-clothing's knitting was simplified by the technology of seamless knitting which improved garments and yield greatly,and led the trend of future processing industry.With economic developed and people's living standard rose,the demand of seamless underwear product was high,which also induced an increasing number for seamless underwear needle.However,the level of domestic knitting needle manufacturing lagged behind the other countries because of the technical limitation from foreign countries and the lack of innovation ability in China,therefore,high-grade textile weaving needle processing level can't meet the demand of domestic market.Needle hook was one of main factors affecting the quality of knitting needle and equipping with the irregular shape of tongue spoon part,which gave the measurement of geometry and the processing of manufacture difficulty.In this paper,the technology of microscopic measurement and EDM micro-hole were carried out during the research of needle hook tongue spoon.Three of follow questions had been resolved:1.The measurement of shape for seamless underwear needle.2.The choice of electrical discharge machine process.3.The scheme determination of seamless underwear's manufacturing processing.Research work mainly included the following three contents:1.Through the seamless underwear needle microscopic date's measurement and overall modeling,make sure the hook tongue spoon geometry characteristics.2.Study the theory of EDM technology and tongue spoon mold,make sure the electrode shape size and the processing of feed mode,and then put forward a reasonable tongue processing technology.3.Use the Z007B EDM machine for needle hook's manufacturing,make sure the rationality of validation process.Got the following main conclusions:1.Put forward a microscopic measurement technology for micro-geometry characteristics.Use digital microscope with super depth camera function to achieve micro geometry description,and express successfully for seamless underwear needle.2.Put forward a new processing method which is using a simple electrode instead of molding ones for EDM,simplify the process of EDM,and use successfully in the processing of seamless underwear needle hook.3.Study the manufacturing process of tongue,and improve the existing process,and then validate the rationality of the process by the experiment.
