Ruthenium complexs play a significant role in various organic reactions,theycan catalyse dehydrogenation of alcohols,transfer hydrogenation,C-H activation,olefin metathesis reactions and so on.Meanwhile,Indenyl metal complexes have been widely studied due to their diverse and flexible hapticities which obtain ?1,?2,?3 and ?5 mode,their enhanced reactivities in catalysis by comparison to cyclopentadienyl analogues.In addition,The organic phosphine compound is a crucial ligand,which play a key role in organometallic chemistry.The metal phosphine compounds have been used as catalysts to catalyse various reactions.Therefore,some special ruthenium complexes were obtained by different ruthe-nium complexes reacted with four indenylphosphine ligands and used as catalysts for dehydrogenation of alcohols.The detailed contents are depicted as follows:1.(1H-inden-3-yl)dicyclohexylphosphinium tetrafluoroborate(1),(3-mesityl-1H-inden-3-yl)dicyclohexylphosphinium tetrafluoroborate(3),(2-phenyl-1H-inden-3-yl)dicyclohexylphosphinium tetrafluoroborate(4),(2-mesityl-1H-inden-3-yl)dicyclo-hexylphosphine(5)reacted with[(?6-cymene)RuCl2)]2(2)and obtained the adducts{(?6-cymene)RuCl2[(1H-inden-3-yl)PCy2]}(6),{(?6-cymene)RuCl2[(3-mesityl-1H-inden-3-yl)PCy2]}(7),{Ru[K(P):(?6-2-phenyl-1H-inden-3-yl)PCy2]Cl2}(8),{Ru[?(P):(?6-2-mesityl-1H-inden-3-yl)PCy2]Cl2}(9),respectively.The molecular structures have been determined by 1H?31P NMR and X-ray single-crystal diffraction analysis.2.Compound 9 displayed high activity and different alcohols can be efficiently oxidized to ketones or aldehydes by using 2.0 mol%of it.3.(1H-inden-3-yl)dicyclohexylphosphinium tetrafluoroborate(1),(2-phenyl-1H-inden-3-yl)dicyclohexylphosphinium tetrafluoroborate(4),(2-mesityl-1H-inden-3-yl)dicyclohexylphosphine(5)reacted with Ru3(CO)12 and obtained the adducts Ru3(?3-?1:?2-3-Cy2PC9H6)(CO)9(12),Ru2(?2-?1:?3-2-phenyl-3-Cy2PC9H4)(CO)6(13),Ru2(?2-?1:?3-2-mesityl-3-Cy2PC9H4)(CO)6(14),respectively.{(?6-cymene)RuCl2[(1H-inden-3-yl)PCy2]}(6),{Ru[K(P):(?6-2-phenyl-1H-inden-3-yl)PCy2]Cl2}(8)reacted with Ru3(CO)12 and obtained the adduct Ru2Cl(?2-?5-3-Cy2PC9H6)(CO)9(15),Ru5(?4-?1:?2?2:?5-2-pheny-l-3-Cy2PC9H4)(CO)i2(16),respectively.The molecular structures have been determined by 1H,31P NMR,IR and X-ray single-crystal diffraction analysis.
