Butyl acrylate device in Acrylic workshop of Fertilizer Plant of Lanzhou Petrochemical Company was designed by Northeast Branch of China Petroleum and Design Company,which estimated productivity is 80 thousand tons yearly.The raw materials are acrylic produced by Acrylic workshop itself and outsourcing butanol,and being catalyzed with para-toluenesulfonic acid,then turn out butyl acrylate by using of Continuous esterification method.The device was constructed and put into operation in April,2008?This article figures out some process parameters of the device could not be reached or higher than the level of domestic similar equipment problems.Research from the following four aspects of the operating parameters were optimized adjustment:Optimization of the reaction process operating conditions,reduce the butyl acrylate reaction by-products;Optimization of heavy ester washing tower T-4122 operation.ensure the stability of T-4122;Optimization of T-4230 alcohol recovery tower operation,ensure the stability of T-4230;Optimization of thin film evaporator(E-4354)operation,ensure long period running.This solution maximizes economic effectiveness,and make a contribution for future safe and better operating.
