Jingchang in Gansu Province is the sulfur dioxide(SO2)control area in China.The Jinchuan Metallurgical Chemical Industrial Park is the major pollution source of SO2 in Jingchuan District.According to the features of pollution here,this thesis proposes that concentrate all kinds of gas from the industrial park and emit them above the mixing layer by high chimney.Firstly,we begin from the fundamental theory of atomosphere,generalize the difficulites,reserch methods and cutting edges of the atmospheric diffusion research and compare the common models of atmospheric diffusion.Then using the AERMOD model,under the weather condition in Jingchang,we research the relation between the ground concentration of SO2 and the height of chimney,diameter and gas velocity.Through studying the cases abroad and using the results of research,we design the method of gas emission which is suitable to Jingchuan.Finally,the new comparing data Qs is defined.Using AERMOD conculation to compare the changes of highest ground concentration of SO2 and Qs,we examine the application effect of gas emission at upper air in the industrial park.The conclusiones in the thesis include:I the gas emission in the upper air is the essential method of dealing with the pollution in the Jinchuan Metallurgical Chemical Industrial Park.2 Under the weather condition of Jingchang,the chimneys which,are higher than 300 meters make the ground concentration of the SO2 decreases as altitude increases.When chimneys are higher than 390 meters,increasing the height of chimney will have less effect on decreasing the ground concentration.3 Because of the inversion layer,the chimneys which are at the range of 265m-295m will produce the inversing dissipation smokes.4 According to the chimney higher than 375m,the change of the inner diameter of it and the velocity have little influence on the ground concentration of SO2.5 Through buliding a chimney of 375m height,14m diameter to emit the SO2 in the park,it is obvious to ameliorate the quality of air in Jingchuan District.
