Polyisobutylene succinic acid glycol ester is highly reactive polyisobutylene(number average molecular weight 700-1300)as the main raw materials and maleic anhydride,diethylene glycol and esterification has been hydrocarbons,and obtained a type W / O type surfactant.This surfactant is a polyisobutylene succinic anhydride derivative,because it has a stable molecular structure and a hydrophilic lipophilic strong,can largely reduce the interfacial tension of the oil and water phases,into close combine to form a stable emulsion system,so consider its use as an emulsifier in emulsion explosives,to a greater degree of hope to be able to improve performance and storage stability of the emulsion detonation of explosives.This paper uses a high activity polyisobutylene and maleic anhydride under nitrogen protective effect of process heat adduct synthesized polyisobutylene succinic anhydride,and then with diethylene glycol esterified at a certain temperature,the synthesis of the polyisobutylene succinic diethylene glycol ester.Study the effects of different factors on the reaction process performance of the final product,using FT-IR and NMR characterization of the structure of the product was measured efficiency of the emulsifier emulsion,HLB value of other performance parameters studied its application in emulsion explosives in The main contents and results are as follows:Hot legitimate process first synthesized polyisobutylene succinic anhydride to an acid number of the product was the evaluation index,the optimal conditions to obtain a better synthesis process is: In the case of a nitrogen-protected,the choice of a number average molecular weight of 1000 high activity polyisobutylene as raw materials,stirring rate 300 r /min,the reaction temperature is 208 ?,reaction time 9 h,n(MA)/ n(PIB)= 2.435.Under these conditions,the synthesis of polyisobutylene succinic anhydride of acid value: 83.9 mg /g.Further,on the basis of the further synthesis of polyisobutylene succinate ester of diethylene glycol to the acid value and hydroxyl value of the evaluation index of the resulting product,the optimal conditions to obtain a better synthesis for: xylene as solvent the solvent in an amount of 50%(percentage by mass accounted PIBSA),the reaction temperature is160-170 ?,reaction time 4 h,p-toluenesulfonic acid catalyst chosen,an amount of 0.3%(percentage of the total mass),n(DEG)/ n(PIBSA)= 2.2.Under this condition,the acid number of the esterification product of about 6.0 mg / g,a hydroxyl number of about 50.9 mg/ g.By FI-IR and NMR structures of these products were characterized.The paper also studied the novel emulsifier polyisobutylene succinic acid glycol ester emulsion explosives in the application.Experimental results show that,polyisobutylene succinic acid glycol ester having a good emulsifying ability and excellent properties significantly reduce interfacial tension and the like.And its emulsion explosives prepared with good storage stability and detonation performance,with good prospects in the emulsion explosives industry.
