The spiral groove is the most important part of cutting-tool,the microstate of the spiral groove surface not only make influence on the machinability,but also the using-life.and the forming method of cutting tool's spiral groove will impact it's surface's microstate.The topic combined with the actual,insighted into the current cutting tool research status and the achievements of spiral groove.According to the basic principle of grinding,established the mathematical model of the cutting tool spiral groove's grinding processing.Analysed the molding and direct methods for grinding cutting-tools,choose the shape wheel and the cylindrical grinding wheel based on the mathematical model and simulation software.Made the cutting-tool slot experiment under two sets of suitable griding parameters.Used scanning electron microscope observation of each tool spiral groove surface microscopic state,Then used the surface contourgraph to measure tool spiral groove specific value of surface roughness,verified the results of the analysis.Finally make sure the cutting parameter influence on tool spiral grooved surface microscopic state and the better way of the forming method of cutting tool's spiral groove...
