The birth of economic activity was together with the rise of human civilization.The industry cluster has become the key method to enhance the competitiveness of each area,for instance,Zhongguancun,Yangtze River Delta as well as Pearl River Delta are famous industry cluster areas.Yangzhou's toy industry has been existed for decades and continues to grow,it has become one of the support pillar industry of Yangzhou Economy and also the iconic feature of this city nationally and internationally.Toys become the most important part of this industry due to their lovely,security and other qualities.The toy industry cluster brings a lot of economic and political benefits to Yangzhou,after the financial crisis in 2008,however,substantial sales and exports shrink exposed the problems of this kind of industry cluster.Yangzhou toy industry cluster is not as powerful as the dress industry of France or the watch industry of Swiss.Being a labor-intensive industry,it doesn't have a clear competitive advantage.This article will have five chapters,the first chapter will introduce the background of this study and the circumstance of Yangzhou's toy industry cluster,and then tell the purpose and meaning of this article.The second chapter will be literature review and theoretical framework,telling the mechanism,conditions as well as competitivenesses of industry cluster put forward by domestic and foreign scholars in recent years.I will also put forward my hope of industry cluster in the future.The third chapter will analyze the macro environment of this industry cluster.And then in the forth chapter,I will analyze the toy industry of the whole world,the nation as well as Yangzhou using statistic methods.Lastly,in the fifth chapter,I will put forward constructive suggestions and feasible measures for Yangzhou's toy industry cluster based on the whole analysis above.
