Sanitary landfill in Mudan town Qinzhou district Tianshui city is located in the Wangsong valley,3.5 kilometres far away from the southwest of the town.It can be reached by the rural road and the newly built landfill road.The daily average treatment of the landfill is 53t,and whose designed service life is 15 years(2016-2030).The landfill capacity is 470,000 m3,while the effective capacity is 400,000 m3.The Engineering service scope covers Mudan town and Huaqi town and 56 villages of their jurisdiction.At present,the feasibility study report of this project has been completed,but the design covers a large area without taking full use of the valley terrain,resulting a low utilization rate of the land.The upriver and both sides of slopes of the compartment can collect a lot of rain,which increases the quantity of the fl[ood control system.The landfill occupies part of cultivated land,and will destroy a certain area of forest.In addition,three messuages must be demolished and relocated as are close to the landfill.This paper is put forward two engineering designs of subjectival project in combination with problems and the insufficiencies of the feasible design.Compared with the feasible design,the retaining wall of the First-design is advancing about 200m to the upstream valley,and the compartment uses the upstream section of the valley and the right side slope with increasing the health protection distance.The Second-design pushes the retaining wall upstream about 80m far from the feasible design possibly to avoid the existing cultivated land and reduce the destruction of forest land.By the comparison and analysis of three designs,under the condition of meeting the capacity,the First-design is superior to the others in the aspects of utilization rate,flood control system,the protection of cultivated land and construction investment.Eventually it determines the First-design for optimization plan.This paper makes up for the inadequacies and solved the problems of the feasible design of the optimization of subjective project for sanitary landfill in Mudan town,and finished preliminary design of subjectival project.The study and design can provide a good reference for the sanitary landfill design and construction in Mudan town.
