In recent years, with the development of science and technology,neutral-type dynamic systems have been widely used in the fields of control, biology, and finance. In practical applications,neutral-type dynamic systems often encounter problems such as delay, noise, and chatter. These problems can cause neutral-type dynamic systems to become unstable or exhibit poor performance.Because the neutral-type time-delay terms in neutral-type dynamic systems are relatively complex to calculate, the research on the stability and synchronization theory of neutral power systems is challenging.By constructing suitable Lyapunov functional, and using the adaptive control, the periodic intermittent adaptive control, the sliding mode control(SMC)and the pinning control, sufficient conditions under different assumptions for the stability and synchronization of neutral-type dynamic systems are obtained. Finally, serval numerical examples was used to verify the effectiveness of the control methods and proved the reliability of the results obtained. The main work of this paper is as follows:1)The finite-time synchronization problem of neutral-type neural networks with time-varying delay and Markov switching is studied.Combined with the adaptive control method, the adaptive control gain is given, and the neutral-type neural networks can achieve finite-time synchronization.Based on linear matrix inequalities(LMIs),the generalized It? formula, and the Lyapunov functional analysis method, the upper bound of the time delay is broadened, and some sufficient conditions for the finite-time synchronization of the systems are obtained, and the design criteria of the adaptive control gain are given.2)The problem of global adaptive exponential synchronization of neutral-type neural networks is studied.Based on the neutral-type neural networks with Brown noise and time-varying delay, the periodic intermittent adaptive control method is introduced, and the design criteria of adaptive control gain are given.By constructing the Lyapunov functional, using mathematical induction method and LMIs,the sufficient conditions for the global adaptive exponential synchronization of neutral-type neural networks are obtained.3)The mean square stability of neutral-type neural networks with time-varying delay and Lévy noise is studied.According to the SMC method and the Lyapunov stability theory,a suitable sliding mode surface(SMS)is constructed, and the reachability condition of SMS is given.Using LMIs,generalized It? formula, integral median theorem and other methods, the mean square exponential stability criterion of neutral-type neural networks on SMS is obtained, and the results obtained is not very conservative.4)The problem of asymptotic synchronization of neutral coupled complex networks with unmeasurable node information is studied.Combining with the adaptive control method with the pinning control method,an adaptive pinning controller is designed, and the adaptive control gain is given.Using the Lyapunov stability theory and LMIs,sufficient conditions for asymptotic synchronization of neutral-type coupled complex networks are given, and the minimum number of pinned nodes required for network synchronization is obtained, which saves control costs.
