Maize, the largest grain crop in Liaoning Province, and plays an important role in food security, agricultural economy and so on.Based on the climatic data of 50 meteorological stations in Liaoning Province from 1961 to 2018,the temporal and spatial variation trends of climatic resources affecting maize production were obtained by statistical analysis, and the spatial simulation of climatic resources was realized.Based on the analysis of the effect of climatic conditions on the growth and development of maize, the climatic regionalization of maize in Liaoning Province was implemented by Geographic Information System(GIS),the zoning changes from 1961 to 1990,1971 to 2000 and 1981 to 2010 were analyzed.Using future climate scenario data and using GIS to study and analyze the climatic regionalization of maize in Liaoning Province from 2020 to 2050 is of great significance to promote the sustainable development of maize industry in Liaoning Province. The main findings are as follows:(1)From 1961 to 2018,the climate resources of Liaoning Province showed the trend of "the decrease of sunshine, the decrease of precipitation and the increase of temperature".In the spatial distribution, the annual sunshine hours and growing season sunshine hours showed a decreasing pattern from west to east, and the annual average temperature showed a decreasing pattern from southwest to northeast, the average temperature in growing season decreased from coastal and central plain to northeast and northwest, and the active accumulated temperature ?10? and frost-free period decreased from coastal area to northwest and northeast. The spatial distribution of annual precipitation and precipitation in growing season shows a pattern of decreasing from southeast to northwest.(2)After analysis, the active accumulated temperature ? 10 ? and the precipitation in growing season of maize were taken as the climatic regionalization factors of maize in Liaoning province, and the regionalization indexes were determined. The climatic zoning map of maize in Liaoning Province was obtained by GIS,which was divided into the most suitable region, the suitable region and the basic suitable region. The most suitable areas are mainly in the central plain of Liaoning and the coastal areas of Liaoning, and the suitable areas are mainly in the northwest of Liaoning and the east of Liaoning. The basic suitable area mainly distributes in the Liaoning Northwest hilly area and the Liaoning Eastern mountainous area. From 1961-1990,1971-2000 to 1981-2010,the most suitable areas and the basic suitable areas showed the trend of first increasing and then decreasing, and the suitable area showed the trend of first decreasing and then increasing. The primary factor influencing the change of the three suitable regions is the precipitation in the growing season, the secondary factor is the active accumulated temperature ?10?.(3)Using future climate scenario data, from 2020 to 2050,the most suitable areas for maize climate in Liaoning province are mainly distributed in northwest Tieling, west and north of Shenyang, south and east of Fuxin,Jinzhou,Panjin, northwest of Liaoyang, northwest of Anshan, northwest of Yingkou,Huludao(except for some parts in Suizhong)and southeast of Chaoyang. The suitable areas are mainly distributed in the southeast of Tieling,Fushun,Benxi,Dandong, central and east of Dalian, central and southeast of Anshan, southeast of Liaoyang, southeast of Yingkou, southeast of Shenyang, northwest of Chaoyang, northwest of Fuxin and the areas near Suizhong. The basic suitable area mainly distributes in the Liaoning northwest few areas.Compared with the years from 1961 to 2018,the area of the most suitable areas of maize in Liaoning Province from 2020 to 2050 increased, the area of the suitable areas and the basic suitable areas decreased, and the primary influencing factor of the area change is the active accumulated temperature ?10?,the secondary factor is the precipitation in growing season.
