With the constant improvement level of urbanization,the urban heat island effect is growing and the urban thermal comfort environment is worsening.These affects people's lives seriously.Urban residential area is a type of land use,which people stay the longest time and has the greatest influence on people's health.Its environment quality has increasingly aroused people's attention.Urban waterfront settlements as the most popular type of residential land,has been researched on building layout and greening form largely.However,these studies mainly discuss the influence of internal factors' changes on the residential environment,less focus on the influence of residential external waterfront green space layout and design on the microclimate and thermal comfort of residential area.This paper takes a waterfront residential area located in the South Canal of Shengyang city as the research object,adopts the method combined measurement and numerical simulation to simulate the microclimate of residential area among different plant types and plant layout patterns of waterfront green space.Then the changes of air temperature,wind speed,relative humidity and thermal comfort of residential area are analyzed quantitatively to compare the effect of different plant types and plant layout patterns of waterfront green space on the microclimate and thermal comfort of residential area.The research conclusions are as follows:(1)The influence of waterfront residential microclimate and thermal comfort are different among plant types of waterfront green space.When waterfront green space is greening with a single plant type,from the point of the influence scope and degree of cooling and humidification and the range of wind resistance in residential areas,planting shrubs is the best.From the point of average wind speed and wind resistance degree,under the condition of planting trees,the residential area has the best wind resistance effect.From the point of the overall level of thermal comfort?the improvement range and degree of waterfront residential areas,grass planting is the best.(2)The influence of waterfront residential microclimate and thermal comfort are different among plant layout patterns of waterfront green space.From the point of the influence scope and degree of cooling and humidification,the scenario of the radio of grass and shrub is 1:2,which the shrub planting nears the river is superior to other scenarios with the same combination.And when the grass planting nears the river with same radio,residential areas have the best wind resistance.The scenario of the radio of grass and tree is 1:2,which the tree planting nears the river is superior to other scenarios with the same combination from the influence scope and degree of cooling and humidification under the combination of grass and tree.When the grass planting nears the river with same radio,residential areas have the best wind resistance.The scenario of the radio of grass?shrub and tree is 1:1:1,which the tree planting nears the river is superior to other scenarios from the influence scope and degree of cooling and humidification under ombination of grass?shrub and tree.And when the vertical direction of the river is grass,shrub,or shrub in turn with same radio,residential areas have the best wind resistance.Among the waterfront greenspace' plant layout patterns,the scenario of the radio of grass and shrub is 1:2,which the shrub planting nears the river is superior to other scenarios from the overall level of thermal comfort?the improvement range and degree of waterfront residential areas.The waterfront greenspace' plant layout patterns under the combination of grass and tree and under the combination of grass?shrub and tree can reduce temperature and increase humidify of the waterfront residential areas to some extent,but its improvement level of thermal comfort is poor.
