Data merging is a kind of common statistical method.By comparing the data of different studies,we can get a more reliable result. This method is mainly used in the fields of medicine, biology and so on.As a common method of data merging,Network meta-analysis can combine the data from different studies with various statistical methods, and carry out data analysis and statistical inference.Network meta-analysis can be used to compare directly and indirectly at the same time.It can summarize the data of randomized clinical trials of different treatment methods for the same or similar diseases, and then make various estimates at the given end-point of treatment,at the same time, evaluate the uncorrelation and draw conclusions.A relatively objective result can be obtained by this method. The theoretical part of this paper consists of four parts: the selection of statistics, the heterogeneity test, the selection of models, the combination of statistics and the publication bias test.In this paper, the network meta-analysis method was applied to study breast cancer chemotherapy.Four indicators, clinical benefit rate, objective remission rate, progression free survival period and adverse reactions, were selected to further study the efficacy and safety of breast cancer treatment. The results showed that although Fulvestrant combined with targeted drugs could increase adverse reactions,it could increase the clinical benefit rate and objective remission rate of advanced breast cancer, and prolong the progression free survival period. Therefore,Fulvestrant combined with targeted drugs can be used as the first choice in the treatment of advanced breast cancer. In this paper, the treatment of advanced breast cancer has been studied in detail, and the results have certain clinical significance.
