Baryonic matter is an important part of the universe, and the astronomical objects that can be directly observed in the universe are all composed of baryons and electrons. Therefore, the formation and evolution of these structures must take into account the effects of related physical processes, such as gas dynamics and radiation processes. In this paper,we provide an exhaustive review of baryon matter and its related physical processes in the universe based on Galaxy Formation and Evolution by Houjun Mo et al.And based on the derivation of such as the gas density distribution under hydrodynamic equilibrium, the derivation of the shock wave transfer conditions under the Mach number form and the strong shock wave conditions derived from it,as well as the derivation of the self-similar model of blast wave and the model of wind-driven bubbles by myself,we wrote the second chapter of this paper. We based on fluid dynamics to introduce the related studies of gaseous halo evolution which consider various fluid effects and radiation processes. These studies include the formation of gaseous halo, the structure of gaseous halo under fluid equilibrium, the evolution of gaseous halo without cooling effect and heating effect,we also introduce the impact of cooling, heating,,the thermal instability and fluid instability of gaseous halo.In chapter 3 of this paper, based on the derivation of the thermal evolution of the IGM and the ionization evolution of the IGM,we introduce the related studies of intergalactic medium in the universe, which is an important part of any theory of galaxy formation and evolution. It also plays an important role in the problem of “cosmic missing baryon” and the study of cosmic microwave background radiation. In this chapter,we first introduce the global properties of the intergalactic medium(IGM)and examine how various radiative and gas-dynamical processes drive the evolution of the IGM.We then introduce how to probe the IGM in more detail using various QSO absorption line systems.
