At the level of SU(3) symmetry, only J/ψ baryonic decays of the type J/ψ â†' B1B1, B8B8, B10B10 are allowed, where,2/1(Jp) is baryon singlet,2/1+is baryon octet, and 2/3+ is baryon decuplet. However, in 1984, the Markâ…¡ collaboration first published experimental results show-ing that a large SU(3) flavor symmetry breaking takes place in the J/ψ decay into baryon pairs(these processes are J/ψ) â†' ∑(1385)±∑(?) + c.c). The result was confirmed by the Markâ…¢ collaboration (in 1986) and the DM2 collaboration (in 1987). The DM2 collabora-tion measured that Br(J/ψ â†' ∑(1530)-∑+)= (5.9±0.7±0.5) × 10-4(80±9 events observed) and 5 events observed). As only a few events observed (poor limited statistics), the results have a large uncertainty.Based on the samples of (1310.6±7.0) x 106 J/ψ events accumulated with the BESâ…¢ detector at the BEPCâ…¡ in both 2009 and 2012, the results are precisely measured as follow:branching fractions,a values of angular distribution,... |
