Remote detection of ground targets using optical detector always meet some difficulties due to the wide FoV(Field of View)and small target image size.Aiming at the terminal correction ammunition,this dissertation made some efforts on target detecting and tracking based on eagle vision.Furthermore,a method measuring HoB(Height of Burst)based on optical detecting information was proposed in a sensors limited situation.The main content of the dissertation is as follows:(1)A technique of targets detecting and tracking in wide FoV based on eagle vision.This dissertation analyzed the physical structures and mechanism of the eagle vision.Furthermore,a new method was proposed which was based on visual saliency map to detect the targets.By extracting the target features of color,intensity and orientation and using linear fusion and morphology filtering method,the regions where the targets may exist in wide FoV could be detected.In order to track the targets,the HOG features were extracted in the conspicuous region provided by detection and classified by Naive Bayesian Classifier.With the equivalent target concept,the target information in the image coordinate system was translated into two parameters of target centroid and image area.Under the circumstance that the number of pixels of the target was less than 20×20,and the proportion of image area in FoV did not exceed 0.25%,the overlap rate of tracking window in the method proposed could be up to 79%.Compared with the Mean-Shift algorithm,target tracking algorithm proposed in this dissertation was more accurate.(2)A technique of HoB measurement based on optical detecting information.In order to extract a proximity signal from optical detecting information to hit the optimal damage effects.By contrasting the features,this dissertation took the image area as the parameter for HoB measurment.Thus,a new model using the image area was proposed which was based on the weak perspective model.and could be divided into perspective projection and orthographic projection.The model's error due to the uncertainty of detection orientation was analyzed,and the result showed that the relative error was less than 5% when the angular altitude rangeed from 50°to 60°and the azimuth angle ranged from 0° to 90°.The method was validated by simulation,and the results showed that azimuthal angle had a greater influence on the method than pitch angular altitude.The method had a maximum error of 6.47% and an average error of 4.1%.It could be used to provide the necessary information for detonation control by measuring HoB.
