Based on different ordering strategies,this paper considers the queuing inventory sys-tem of perishable items with limited waiting space.According to the theory of quasi birth and death process,the condition of system equilibrium is obtained,the steady-state proba-bility vector of the system is obtained by solving matrix equations.The optimal inventory strategies are obtained by using genetic algorithm.The details are as follows:Firstly,this paper considers the queuing inventory system of perishable items with lim-ited waiting space and random ordering strategy.its characteristic is that the order quantity obeys the general finite probability distribution.The state transition matrix of the system,the equilibrium condition of the system,the steady-state probability vector of the system,some system-related performance indicators,and the cost function of the system are given.The optimal solution is obtained by using genetic algorithm.This paper analyzes the impact of waiting space and maximum inventory on cost function,and the impact of system parameters on maximum inventory level,minimum cost and system performance index.Secondly,this paper considers the queuing inventory system of perishable items with limited waiting space and(r,Q)strategy.its characteristic is that the order quantity is a fixed value.The state transition matrix,the equilibrium condition,the steady-state probability vector,some performance indexes and the cost function of the system are given.The optimal solution of the cost function is obtained by using genetic algorithm.The influence of system parameters on system performance is analyzed,the change trend of cost function about safety stock and order quantity is analyzed.Finally,this paper considers the queuing inventory system of perishable items with lim-ited waiting space and(s,S)strategy.Some cost-related performance indicators are obtained by the steady-state probability vector of the system.The state transition matrix of the system,the equilibrium condition of the system,the steady-state probability vector of the system,some system-related performance indicators,and the cost function of the system are given.The optimal solution is obtained by using genetic algorithm.The influence of system param-eters on safety stock,maximum stock level,minimum cost and system performance index is analyzed.
