A large number of surface mining activities along with the rapid development of China's economy have caused serious visual pollution to some of China's natural landscapes with beautiful visual landscapes.A well-established landscape visual impact assessment method for surface mining sites is needed to guide the relevant visual management efforts.Although developed countries in Europe and the United States started the evaluation work on landscape visual resources earlier,the related research is mainly aimed at areas with better landscape visual resources,and there are few studies on landscape visual impact assessment of visual pollutants such as surface mining points.Some studies have remained at the subjective evaluation of expert scoring.Therefore,based on the Arc GIS software platform,this paper studies a set of scientific and easy-to-use visual impact assessment methods for surface mining sites,and uses the surface mining points on the Ningzhen Mountains in Nanjing to Zhenjiang City and the provincial level in the Ningzhen Mountains and The above roads are the research objects,and the visual impact level of the mining points around the table and the degree of visual impact between the road and the surface mining points are analyzed and evaluated.According to the evaluation results,the reference and basis for the repair sequence of the surface mining sites are provided,that is,the surface mining points with higher visual impact levels are preferentially repaired.At the same time,the evaluation results of the degree of visual impact between roads and surface mining points can distinguish road sections with different degrees of influence on surface mining points,and provide basis for relevant road visual landscape management work.At the end of the paper,based on the actual research results,the accuracy of the research method is verified.At the same time,combined with the actual research rules,the visual landscape reconstruction plan between each road and mining point is proposed.
