With the continuous deepening and development of China’s economic construction,the construction projects of highways,railways and mountain highways are increasing.The traditional technology of slope protection has the defects of poor durability and unconspicuous ecological effect.If the problem is not properly solved,it will not only affect the quality of the project,but also bring great security risks to the safety of people and property.As an important ecological slope protection,the 3-D mat planting grass for slope protection has been more and more widely applied in slope protection.However,when the slope is affected by groundwater seepage,the stability of the initial protection system of 3-D mat will be threatened.In the process of slope design,the selection of slope and 3-D geotextile are the key.In view of this practical problem,this paper combines the Chaoyang ditch reconstruction project to study the slope protection and stability of the 3-D mat in the early stage of vegetation growth.Through the theoretical analysis and the finite element numerical simulation,the paper draws the following conclusions:(1)through the exploration of the protective slope combined with both 3-D mat and the vegetation,the main performance mechanism can be seen as follows: the 3-D geotextile mat has a complex three-dimensional network structure,which can accommodate more than 90% soil;at the same time,it plays the role of soil encapsulation,thus effectively prevents rain splashing and scouring.(2)combining the fluid mechanics theory with the limit equilibrium method,the stability analysis model of 3-D net protection slope is established under rainfall conditions.Through the analysis,the stability of the net cushion is influenced by the slope angle,the length of the slope,the type of the net pad,the rivet spacing and the intensity of the rain.The net cushion has good integrity in a certain slope without the measure of rivet anchoring under the condition of no rainfall.(3)using the finite element software and analyzing the slope stability according to different rainfall intensity,the influence of the 3-D mat on the stability of slope is analyzed.It is proved that the 3-D mat has a positive influence on slope stability.
