The management and development of saline soils has become an imminent global problem. As a large agricultural country, between the growing population and the arable salinized land has become a major contradiction in China. The cultivation of salt tolerance plants is already the most effective measure to resolve this contradiction.Lycium ruthenicum Murr is a typical desert halophyte that has a strong ability to adapt to adversity and saline-alkali environment, and has high medicinal, nutritional, economic and ecological values. It is also one of the most popular pioneer shrub species for saline-alkaline improvement. In this study, five provenances:Aksu(Xinjiang),Yongjing(Gansu),Yanqi(Xinjiang),Delingha(Qinghai),Dawukou(Ningxia)L.ruthenicum were used as experimental materials to study the effects of physiological characteristics and fluorescence photosynthesis by different NaCl concentrations and different times, comprehensive evaluation of the five provenances L.ruthenicum salt resistance,in order to provide a new theoretical basis for the largescale planting of L.ruthenicum.The main conclusions are as follows:1 With the increase of NaCl concentration and treatment time, the antioxidant enzyme activities of the five provences L.ruthenicum leaves showed an inverted “V” shape(SOD,CAT),a downward trend(POD).2 With the increase of NaCl concentration and treatment time, the proline content in leaves of the five provenances L.ruthenicum showed an overall upward trend;the content of soluble sugar generally shows an inverted "V" shape, but different provenances are different.Under the treatment of 200 mmol/L NaCl,Aksu,s L.ruthenicum soluble sugar content reached the maximum, and the other four provenances reached the maximum at 150 mmol/L;the overall trend of soluble protein content showed a "V" shape. When the concentration of NaCl is 150mmol/L,the content of soluble protein was reached minimum;MDA,relative conductivity and membrane damage rate are all on the rise.3 With increase in NaCl concentration and treatment time, the contents of chlorophyll a,chlorophyll b,and chlorophyll in the leaves of the five provenances of L.ruthenicum showed a general downward trend, but there were differences among the provenances. The decrease of Yanqi's chlorophyll b and chlorophyll content were much higher than that of the other four provenances, while the content of Aksu's chlorophyll a,chlorophyll b and chlorophyll were much lower than that of the other four provenances and the decrease was insignificant; With the increase of NaCl concentration and treatment time, the values of Fm?Fm??Fv/Fm?Fv/Fo?Y(II)?qP and ETR showed a downward trend, and the values of Fo and qN showed an upward trend.4 Screen the various physiological and fluorescence indexes of L.ruthenicum by principal component analysis.Chlorophyll a?relative conductivity?chlorophyll?membrane damage rate?CAT?soluble protein?soluble sugar and Fm??Fv / Fo?Fv / Fm ?Fm?Y(II)?ETR?qP and other indicators to comprehensively evaluate the salt tolerance of the five provenances L.ruthenicum and their impact on photosynthetic fluorescence physiology;using the comprehensive function method to rank their salt tolerance,in order of Aksu,Yongjing,Dawukou,Delingha andYanqi.
