Exploring and determining the properties of quark-gluon plasmas produced by heavy-ion collisions is an important topic in intermediate and high energy nuclear Physics experiments and theoretical studies.Due to the fact that the lepton pairs produced do not interact with the nuclear medium, the Drell-Yan process becomes an ideal tool for the study of the initial-state nuclear effect A depth research of the nuclear effect on Drell-Yan process can help us to understand the initial-state nuclear effect of the high energy heavy-ion collisionsBy means of the analytic parameterization of quenching weight based on BDMPS formalism, with the HKM parton distribution functions, the calculations of the Drell-Yan differential cross section ratio are performed with comparison to the experimental data reported by E906/SeaQuest from fermilab. Our result shows that the value of quark transport coefficient is 0.54±0.11.It is found that the suppression of the cross section ratio, which caused by the nuclear effect of the parton distribution function and the energy loss effect of the incoming quark, increase with the Feynman variable xF.Considering the target nuclear geometry effect, the value of transport coefficient is 0.41±0.16.Obviously the target nuclear geometry effect has a distinct effect on quark transport coefficient.
