As time goes by,traditional photogrammetry has been unable to fulfill the development requirements of the country,so it is urgent to further improve the efficiency of aerial photogrammetry.Generally,to achieve this goal,it is essential to reduce the number of control points. Therefore, many scholars in the field of photogrammetry have devoted themselves to study how to reduce the number of control points.Recently,GNSS/INS integrated navigation technique has been applied in aerial photogrammetry along with the progress of location technology.Combining the advantages with GNSS technique and INS technique,GNSS/INS integrated navigation system has developed into a location technology with higher positioning accuracy and output of carrier attitude information, and the POS data greatly simplifies the work flow of UAV mapping.Due to its application in UAV mapping,GNSS/INS is used to aerial survey in this study. The aerial triangulation method of GNSS and GNSS/INS in the same survey area,as well as the direct orientation method of GNSS/INS are used the mapping of Orthophoto. The difference between GNSS and GNSS/INS in aerial photography is compared through different image control point layout schemes, and the mapping accuracy is analyzed by GNSS/INS direct orientation method, verifying the feasibility of direct orientation method. The results show that the mapping accuracy of GNSS/ INS system is higher than that of GNSS system in aerial photogrammetry, and the number of field image control points can be reduced by GNSS/INS system.GNSS/INS direct orientation method can meet the requirements of surveying standard in plane and elevation accuracy.Hence,it indicates that the GNSS / INS direct orientation method is feasibly used to eliminate the field image control points in large-scale UAV surveying. However, the accuracy of this direct orientation method is respectively lower. Therefore,it is needed to further improve the application of GNSS/INS system in aerial photogrammetry.Figure 39;Table 7;Reference 61...
