The change of the coastline is a process that is affected by the combination of natural changes and human activities,thereby affecting the sustained and stable development of the economy in the coastal areas and the living conditions of the coastal people.Therefore,the continuous and accurate acquisition of coastline data and information,and the study of the spatial and temporal changes of the coastline in the study area are of great significance for the continuous and effective development of coastal resources,the protection of the production and living environment of coastal residents,and the coordination of economic development.This article uses the Landsat series of images in Fujian Province and Taiwan Island in 1995,2001,2010 and 2017 as the main data source,and mainly conducts the following studies:(1)Establishing the coastline classification system of Fujian Province and Taiwan Island respectively;2)Uncertainty analysis of the coastline location;(3)Extracted the coastline information of Fujian Province and Taiwan Island from 1995 to 2017,and carried out the analysis of coastline evolution characteristics and influencing factors based on the coastline extraction results;(4)Based on Fujian Province 1.Changes in the coastline on both sides of the Taiwan Island,comparing the evolution characteristics of the coastline between the two places and analyzing the reasons at different periods.The main work and results of this article are as follows:2.The length of the coast of Fujian is increasing year by years,with a total increase of 389.05km.The added values in the early,middle and late periods are 54.03km,124.71km,and 210.31km respectively.Among them,the artificial coastline has the largest change,from 911.16km in 1995 to1624.13km in 2017.The coast length of Taiwan Island increased by18.99km during the study period,and the change in the artificial coastline increased from 289.59km in 1995 to 390.98km in 2017.3.During the study period,the fractal dimension of the coastline of Fujian Province showed an overall increasing trend.Among them,the fractal dimension of the coastline of Xiamen continued to increase.Increasing trend;the fractal dimension of the coastline of Taiwan Island in general increased during the study period,among which the fractal dimension of the coastline of New Taipei City,Kaohsiung City,Changhua County and Taoyuan City continued to increase.The counties and other countries showed a trend of increasing first and then decreasing.3.From 1995 to 2017,the total number of bays in the typical bedrock coastline sections of Fujian Province and Taiwan showed a gradual upward trend,indicating that the coastline of the shore section gradually tended to bend from a relatively straight state in the early stage,and the area average,bay width and bay depth were generally opposite The trend of the bay is gradually shifting towards the southeast,and the asymmetry coefficient value,shape factor,morphology coefficient,bending coefficient and compact coefficient show a variety of changes.4.From 1995 to 2017,the overall coastline of Fujian Province and Taiwan Island continued to expand.Among them,the net coastline movement(0-0.5km)accounted for 60.49%,44.57%;54.61%,34.82%;57.00%,51.77%,the proportion of negative net coastline movements in various periods is 39.12%,52.75%;40.40%,34.82%;36.47%,51.77%,and some shorelines have different degrees of coastline erosion"Backward"phenomenon.5.The change in the spatial position of the coastline has caused a corresponding change in the land area of the coastal zone.The area change in Fujian mainly focuses on Meizhou Bay and Xinghua Bay.The land area of Meizhou Bay increased by about 18.85km~2 and 42.52km~2 in the middle and late period due to changes in the coastline,including construction land of about 7.01km~2 and 16.61km~2,and cultivated farmland of about 4.04km~2and 1.72km~2;the construction land of Kaohsiung Port of Taiwan Island due to changes in the coastline The increase is about 1.4km~2,0.46km~2,4.72km~2.The expansion of the port is the main reason for the change in the land area of this section.For example,the expansion of the Kaohsiung Port increases the land for infrastructure such as roads and storage land by reclamation.6.The coastlines of Fujian Province and Taiwan Island are affected by both natural and human factors.The natural factors include sea level changes,estuary sedimentation,storm surges,topographic changes,and wave tides.Human factors mainly include port construction.Breeding ponds,reclamation of salt fields,and town construction.
