The standard model is a theory that describes the three basic interaction laws of strong interaction, weak interaction and electromagnetic interaction and how the basic particles make up matter. Its establishment is one of the most important achievements in physics in the 20 th century. So far,the standard model has been verified by numerous experiments, and the combination of theory and experiment is perfect. The standard model doesn't contain neutrino mass.It assumes that there are only left-handed neutrino in the universe,so it can't produce mass terms through coupling with Higgs field like other fermions. However, neutrino oscillation has been observed experimentally, which shows that its mass is not zero.Because of the mysteries of neutrino,it have become a favorite research direction for physicists.Neutrino have a significant impact on the early stage of the big bang.Studying the nature of neutrino is very helpful for us to study the formation and evolution of the universe.Neutrino research also has a great impact on the exploration of dark matter.Neutrino research also has a great impact on the exploration of dark matter.Scientists have been looking for the components and properties of dark matter since the discovery of dark matter. As a candidate of Warm Dark Matter, sterile neutrino research is also helpful to solve the mystery of dark matter.By adding the right-hand dirac neutrino field on the basis of the standard model, the neutrino and Higgs fields are coupled to produce mass terms.Based on this,we study the influence of the mass neutrino on the photon and the neutrino scattering process, and calculate the leading order scattering cross section.
