| In order to explore the essence of technology,the famous contemporary American technology philosopher,Don Ihde has broken through the traditional way of thinking of technology,and he has merged phenomenology and technology philosophy to form his own unique philosophical thinking,which is important to the field of technology philosophy.It can be seen from the original literature of Don Ihde’s interpretation of technological philosophy and related research by other scholars that Don Ihde’s philosophy of technology is based on Husserl’s life world and intentionality theory,Merlot-Ponty’s phenomenology,Heidegger’s technical thoughts,Dewey’s empirical naturalism philosophical theory,and combined with the transformation of science and technology and the realistic background of human alienation.Don Ihde saw the theoretical accumulation of previous people as the cornerstone,who observed in a phenomenological way of thinking Technology world.Don Ihde’s philosophy of technology mainly includes four contents: at first,technological phenomenology.He thought that the relationship between man and technology is embodied,hermeneutic,other,and background;and the other is the view of technological culture.He thought that the cultural embeddability of technology,the transferability of technological culture,the multiculturalism of technology and the mediating role of image technology can all highlight the cultural essence of technology;the third is instrumental realism.He put foward to instrument that is the interface of technology and culture,which is based on the relationship between instrument and perception.Experiment is the core issue of the whole tool realism;the fourth is the phenomenology of cyberspace,which believes that cyberspace has three types of characteristics: multiple stability,tool inclination and embodiment.Compared with previous technology philosophers,Don Ihde has made important theoretical contributions in the field of philosophy of technology in terms of thinking mode,research method and theoretical connotation.He breaks away from the inertia of the study of technology philosophy in the metaphysical way of thinking and promots the philosophy of technology,turning to technical phenomenology and the world of life.He proposes new methods of postphenomenology and materialized hermeneutics,providing a new theoretical perspective for the study of technological philosophy.He tries to tap the essence of technological philosophy and proposing a new understanding of the definition of technological philosophy,including making technology “multicultural” and “bodytechnology”. |
