In 2020,the overall market size of China's Internet of Things will reach 2 trillion and 200 billion yuan,and the sensor industry will directly benefit from it.In 2020,the size of China's sensor market will reach 168 billion yuan.It is predicted that under the driving force of the substantial growth of the Internet of Things market,the Chinese sensor market will maintain a growth rate of more than 25%in the next five years.Optical fiber is the key transmission material in the Internet of Things,and it is also a key sensing device.However,the sensing fiber is often used in various bad links,such as high temperature and high humidity.Conventional G.652.D fiber obviously does not meet this demand,so the development of low-loss high-temperature fiber is required.In this paper,the design and development of low-loss high-temperature single-mode fiber is carried out from the perspective of low loss and high temperature resistance.This topic mainly studies fiber design,fiber preparation process,fiber performance and engineering application from two aspects of low loss and high temperature resistance.The main research results are as follows:(1)Low-loss and high-temperature single-mode fiber design:It is mainly explained from the two aspects of low loss and high temperature resistance.The factors affecting fiber attenuation mainly improve the purity of raw materials,change the waveguide structure of the fiber,and improve the internal stress of the fiber.It is important to describe that,by improvement,the attenuation of the fiber decreases by approximately 0.015 dB/km at 1310 wavelength and by 0.01 dB/km at 1550 wavelength.The high temperature resistance is mainly explained from the perspective of the coating,and finally the high temperature resistant acrylic resin coating is selected.(2)The preparation of low-loss and high-temperature resistant single-mode fiber is mainly studied from four dimensions:drawing furnace process and system,annealing process and system,coating process and system,fiber performance screening.In the production of optical fiber,it is necessary to solve the drawing problem caused by the diameter deviation of the optical perform,and complete the design and development of the drawing furnace.This kind of drawing furnace can be applied to the optical fiber preform with large diameter deviation,and at the same time,it can guarantee the geometric size parameters of the optical fiber.In the drawing process,the high-temperature resistant acrylic resin coating is directly applied by wet to wet coating process,and then cured.The finished optical fiber meets the attenuation requirements of temperature resistant optical fiber.The optical fiber is inspected by optical fiber screening process.During the screening process,the optical fiber bears the force of 100kpsi,and the optical fiber strength is verified to ensure the quality of optical fiber products.(3)Performance of low-loss and high temperature resistant single-mode optical fiber:according to the standard of G.652.D optical fiber,the test of optical fiber performance index and full set of type test are carried out.The environmental test index and mechanical performance index of optical fiber meet the corresponding national standards and have practical value.
