Acoustic detection technology plays a vital role in the field of marine exploration.With the improvement of acoustic detection technology,the amount of submarine acoustic detection data has increased dramatically,which will inevitably challenge the storage and transmission channels of submarine detection instruments,while data compression technology can provide good solutions and practical guidance for the above problems.For real-time data compression technology of acoustic detection data,it is not widely used in actual exploration at present.Therefore,acoustic detection equipment equipped with real-time data compression technology has great development value and application prospects.Based on the LZW lossless compression algorithm,this paper starts from the physical algorithm simulation and data compression algorithm hardware transplantation to study the real-time compression method and implementation technology of submarine acoustic detection data.In terms of physical algorithm simulation,using the actual seabed seismometer data as the data source,the compression effect of the LZW algorithm is tested on the computer platform,and the compression results is re-divided in memory,which greatly reduces the memory consumption of the compression results and improves compression effect,combined with the compression effect to analyze the feasibility of the compression algorithm.In terms of hardware transplantation of data compression,based on the algorithm,research on LZW hardware circuit compression implementation method based on FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array)hardware platform,developed real-time data acquisition and real-time compression circuit,to achieve the hardware of data compression algorithm.Based on the physical algorithm simulation and data compression algorithm hardware transplantation,the host computer software with decompression fun ction is developed based on the QT platform.Through theoretical analysis,hardware and software design,the compression of acoustic data is realized,the effective rate of data transmission and the effective storage capacity of the submarine acoustic dete ction equipment is improved.After the data compression algorithm hardware transplantation and QT host computer decompression software were completed,the data compression hardware circuit and host computer software joint debugging were performed in the la boratory to verify the correctness of the entire compression and decompression process,the result shows that the acoustic data compression and decompression were realized,the rate of data transmission and the effective operation capability of the submarine acoustic detection equipment were improved,which has a good guiding significance for the future development of domestic submarine acoustic detection instruments with data compression modules.
