After years of development,mineral resources economics has become a fringe discipline that includes mining,geology,economics,engineering economics and natural resources research.It is difficult to find out the necessary parts from such complicated data and sum up the rules.To simplify the operation of demand forecast and meet the two major needs of demand forecasting: able to accurately reflect the changing laws of the market,based on the subjective interpretation of the policy and the situation.This paper provides a new algorithm for the prediction of mineral resource demand: the subjective correction algorithm.The first of the algorithm is orthogonal polynomial regression to summarize the laws of the existing data,and the second is to modify the prediction based on the coefficients of the subjective judgment input.In the process of actual use,the subjective correction method is highly operable when adding data correction based on subjective judgment,the influence of various parameters on the results is clear,and the predicted change trend is very natural.However,there are still many problems with the subjective correction method,such as the orthogonal polynomial algorithm has a serious deviation in the large-scale fitting,the input is not user-friendly,and there is no graphical presentation on the output interface.But the algorithm still has a lot of aspects for improvement,whether it is from the algorithm level or the program level,it can be made more practical through continuous improvement.
