In this paper, numerical simulation is used to study the dynamic response rules and failure characteristics of earthquake-induced layered rock slopes and Tangjiashan landslide. And the main achievements are as follows:(1)layered rock slopes are divided into beveled layered rock slopes,anti-dipped layered rock slopes, and steeply inclined layered rock slopes according to the relationship between different structural planes and layers;the failure characteristics of layered rock slopes are mainly the following types: bedding shear slip?Sliding along the plane-bending-buckling failure?dump damage?bending dumping, block dumping, block bending dumping, and wedge sliding failure.(2)19 models of layered slopes were established using 3DEC.The dynamic response of layered slopes and the dynamic failure characteristics of bedding rock slopes were studied. The results show :the foot of the slope has a certain inhibitory effect on the dynamic response, and the top of the slope has an amplification effect on the dynamic response;the acceleration amplification coefficient increases along the slope surface with the increase of the slope height, and exhibits a trending effect in the horizontal direction and the vertical direction, respectively And elevation magnification effects;the dynamic failure feature of the bedding rock slope is the bedding shear along the rock layer slip.(3)The influence of rock layer dip angle, joint parameters and slope angle on the dynamic response of layered rock slopes was studied. The results show:the closer the rock inclination angle to the slope angle, the smaller the joint strength parameter, the greater the slope slope angle, the more obvious the slope acceleration magnification effect.(4)Using 3DEC to establish Tangjiashan landslide model, the dynamic response rules and dynamic destruction process of the Tangjiashan landslide were studied:(1)The dynamic response rule is that the acceleration amplification factor increases gradually along the slope surface as the slope height increases;it shows a trending effect in the horizontal direction, showing the vertical magnification effect in the vertical direction;(2)The destruction process is: Earthquake induced-the top of the slope is pulled apart-shearing displacement at the foot of the slope-sliding along the sliding surface-uplift caused by blocking the bank slope-accumulation at the foot of the slopethe formation of accumulation bodies.
