Dielectric barrier discharge(DBD)has been widely used and studied in ozone synthesis,material surface treatment,environmental protection,disinfection and pneumatic control.In this paper,the impedance characteristics of surface dielectric barrier discharge(SDBD)are studied,and the factors affecting the discharge effect are analyzed.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)The SDBD reactor with double sprial electrodes is designed.Maxwell software is used to model and simulate the electrostatic field distribution of the reactor.The effects of the magnitude of excitation voltage,the thickness of dielectric layer and the distance between electrodes on the electric field intensity are explored,which provides a reference for optimizing the reactor structure.(2)An experimental system of SDBD is built,and the effects of different connection modes of power supply on voltage-current waveforms are studied.The asymmetry of discharge is pointed out.The effects of voltage amplitude and frequency on discharge power are studied by measuring voltage-ampere curves and Lissajous under different applied voltage amplitudes and frequencies.(3)A Simulink dynamic circuit model of SDBD with double spiral electrodes is proposed,and the characteristics of the impedance matching network loaded on the reactor are analyzed.The experimental results show that add the impedance matching network enhances the output voltage of power supply and is beneficial to the increase of discharge power.(4)The results show that the reactor has obvious removal effect on PM2.5 and formaldehyde.The effects of initial concentration of PM2.5 and voltage amplitude on the degradation efficiency are explored.The impedance matching network method proposed in this work effectively improves the comprehensive performance of SDBD with double spiral electrodes.The research results provide feasible technical solutions for promoting engineering practicality,and also provide useful reference for impedance matching network methods of similar reactors.
