Quality control of meteorological data is a very important work in meteorological data processing, it is also a difficult technical work and needs to do further research. There are many domestic and foreign scholars have done on the methods of weather data control, however, the foundation system data quality control for ground-based microwave radiometer has not been reported. With the development of ground-based microwave radiometer network application and the increasing number of observational data, the importance of quality control is more obvious each day. In this paper, a data control module is described bases on using common technology of quality control, which testing observation of each channel by using radiative transfer equation and independent atmospheric profiles. Then selected cases are used to make a comparison analysis on the brightness temperatures between the calculated values by radiative transfer equation and observational values by the radiometer. The results showed that the method of using calculative values by radiative transfer equation to test observational values is feasible. In this paper, an automatic quality control software for single station radiometer observational brightness temperatures is designed and implemented, which uses Delphi7.0 as development tools and Microsoft Office Access as databases.
