Mineral resources not only promote economic construction and social development,but also cause critical ecological environmental problems that go against healthy and ordered development of local economy,society and environment.So understanding the soil properties and plant community in mining area and its adjoining area is of great significance for revegetation.This paper takes mining area in Chinese and Western Mining In Inner Mongolia and its adjoining area as the research object,soil characteristics,bacterial composition and diversity,plant community characteristics and water use efficiency of dominant plants were studied through a series of techniques that including field investigation and sampling,indoor experiment and high-throughput sequencing technology.Putting forword restoring vegetation collocation pattern in the mining area preliminarily and aiming to provide theoretical support and technical reference for revegetation in mining area.The main results are as follows:(1)There are obvious differences in soil properties in mining area and its adjoining area.The Bulk density of soil is higher that is compacted artificially.Soil moisture is low as well.Totality,Soil properties are characterized by alkalescence,nutrient deficiency,which is not conducive to plant growth.Soil quality has improved after planting Medicago sativa,however,the effect is not extremely well.(2)Soil bacterial community is sensitive to the change of soil environment,and there are clear differences in soil bacterial communities in different sample plots.The dominant bacterials in mining area are Proteobacteria and Firmicutes,while in its adjoining area is Acidobacteria.Furthermore,diversity of soil bacterial communities become distrinct,adjoining area is the highest,mining area that planting grass artificially up to 5 years takes second place,and mining area that revegetating naturally up to 4 years is the lowest.As a whole,soil bacterial community structure and diversity are affected enormously by soil properties,which including Silt?Sand?pH?Fe?AK and TK.(3)Vegetation species composition in mining area are monotonous.And with the increasing of revegetating years,the number of floristics are raising.However,the improvement effect is not outstanding since revegetating years are too short.(4)The dominance of plants of Poaceae and Asteraceae are superior in the research area,and leguminous plants can improve soil quality availably,so we can choose them as the priority to restore vegetation in the mining area.The water use efficiency of Setaria viridis in mining area is the highest,and we can choose it as the pioneer plant to restore vegetation.(5)Restoring vegetation collocation pattern in the mining area in Chinese and Western Mining In Inner Mongolia is the way that herbs,bushs and arbors are conbining,planting and sowing seeds artificially,different kinds of plants growing in the mining area,along with the ameliorative measures which can improve soil fertility and pH value.
