Enrichment Differentation Of Multi-elements Associated With Coal In Jialequan,Shanxi

This paper studies the geochemical characteristics of minerals and elements in late carboniferous coal in Jialequan,Shanxi by fully using the theoretical knowledge of coal geology,coal petrology,coal mineralogy,and element geochemistryt.In the late Carboniferous of Jialequan,Shanxi,the main of 8 coal is medium ash and high sulfur coal,and 9 coal is low ash and medium sulfur coal.Through the observation of polarized light microscope,it was found that the maceral components of 8 and 9 coals are mainly vitrinite and inertinite.The coal stratified samples were ashes by plasma low temperature ashing instrument,and the minerals in Jialequan coal were detected by X-ray diffractometer?XRD?and electron probe with energy spectrum.The results show that the minerals in Jialequan 8coal mainly include kaolinite,calcite,quartz,burnt gypsum,Illite,jarosite,anatase,pyrite,etc.The minerals in 9 coal mainly include kaolinite,calcite,quartz,anatase,etc.Pyrite,apatite,barite and rutile were also found in individual samples.The contents of constant and trace elements in Jialequan coal were measured by XRF and ICP-MS.The results show that,compared with the average value of coal in China,the main elements enriched in 8coal are K₂O and Al₂O₃.The enriched coal contains P₂O₅ and CaO in 9 coal.Compared with the world coal average,the enriched trace elements in 8 coal include Li and Zr.Trace elements Zn,Hf,Ta,Pb,Th and Nb were slightly enriched.9 coal trace elements slightly enriched in coal include Li and Y.In terms of the geochemical characteristics of rare earth elements,the REE distribution pattern of most Jialequan coal is L-type,which is mainly due to the enrichment of LREE in the source rocks.The colloidal solution or surface water brought these rare earth elements into the coal-accumulating basin during the peat swamp formation.
