Birds are the most abundant quadruped vertebrate species. With the rapid radiation of birds, more than ten thousands different species of avian were formed in a period shorter than 10 ~7 years. But,the diversity mechanism of producing these birds remains unclear. The genome data of birds provide an important basis for the quantitative study of genome evolution.Firstly, based on the nucleotide sequences of whole genome of 47 birds, the evolutionary equation about nucleotide frequency of avian genome was verified, and the evolutionary mechanism and law of nucleotide frequency were studied.By fitting the genome data of birds, the evolutionary inertia parameters, dissipation parameters and environment parameters of the evolution equation were determined. On this basis, the evolution rate of each base was estimated, and the evolution rules about the whole genome length of birds was deduced. We found that the increase of bird genome and its-information were accumulated rapidly in a short time. After preliminary expansion of the avian genome, the nucleotide frequencies of the avian genome attained comparatively stable values which corresponds to so-called“evolutionary stasis”.Secondly, the validity of the quantum evolutionary equation for avian genome was tested, and the statistical law of producing new birds was studied based on the genome mutation.By calculating the quantum transition probability of newborn birds, the quantum evolution tree of birds that can reflect the evolutionary process of birds was constructed, and the origin and evolution of birds were investigated. We found that the speciation is a stochastic event and obeying statistical laws. The sexual maturity time of bird has important species characteristics in evolution. And the quantum transition probability can be used to determine the genetic relationship between birds. The results provide a new clue to understand the rapid formation of newborn birds during the post-Cretaceous period, and obtain a more comprehensive picture of avian evolution. The method proposed in the article provides a general approach for the quantitative study of avian evolution as well as other species.
