Locating the aircraft's landing point is an important mission of some confidential troop affiliated with People's Liberation Army.The accuracy and efficiency of the landing point measurement plays a critical role in judging the result of flight test and searching the wreckage of the aircrafts.It's unavailable to locate the landing point by means of ultrasonic,radar or wireless due to the condition limits in testing area and the mobility requirement.In this connection,the optical measuring methods which are easy to operate are applicable in testing.In the traditional optical measuring way,the target of landing was firstly captured by a special telescope.Then the angle values estimated by personals in different observation spots were transformed in an encryption way through the radio to the computing center where the personals recorded the information into the calculation software and produced the final outcome.However,the result got in this way was beyond satisfaction as it was ineffective and with obvious artificial errors.Thus we need to upgrade the measurement to an automated system to gauge the lading point accurately in real time.To address the defects of landing points measured by the traditional way,this paper discussed a new method to improve the measuring efficiency and accuracy by upgrading the hardware and software.In this new method,the mature photoelectric coding technique and easy operated telescope are combined,and the microprocessor control circuit with calculation software which responsible for receiving and sending data are added.The full process of angle information collection,transformation,calculating and reporting will be completed by the automated system after the target is captured by the manipulator.The main contents of this article are:1.Key techniques research.This paper introduces some key techniques used in the real-time optical locating system,such as two point intersection method,Gauss projection and Photo-coding technique,as well as an optimized calculation method based on the traditional measurement.2.Demand analysis for the landing point optical measurement system.In the view of reality,this paper takes a thorough analysis on all the main processes of the measurement,focusing on the demands of the landing point real-time optical measuring system.3.Landing point optical measurement system design.The system design is built on the basis of demand analysis,including system structure setup,functional frame and Network Topology.4.Landing point optical measurement system implementation.At first,a programming environment has been established by connecting hardwires like optical-electricity encoder and data radio etc.Then,the functions of the system will be realized through programming environment,including data communication,data processing,Intersection calculation and aid decision making.5.Landing point optical measurement system test.To ensure the stability and reliability of the system,the system has been tested through relevant situations to eliminate the potential errors.At present,the new system has been applied in practice.With its advantages in mobility and stable performance,the efficiency and accuracy and the stability of landing point locating has been greatly improved.
