Most species of Carpophilinae are stored grain pests and have important economic significance. At present, there is a lack of systematically taxonomical studies on this subfamily in China. This thesis summarizes the research status and current situation at home and abroad, and morphology terminology commonly used in the taxonomy of the subfamily Carpophilinae are given. The traditional taxonomic research method is used to study the insects of the subfamily, and the geographical distribution of this subfamily in China is analyzed and summarized.3 genera,8 subgenera and 37 species of the subfamily are recognized,of which 1 subgenus and 8 species are newly recorded from China,3 species are new to science. These are enriching the species diversity of this subfamily in China.Keys of genera, subgenera and species are given.24 species of Chinese records are illustrated.According to the analysis of the statistical data, the distribution of the insects in the zoogeographic flora of China is seriously uneven, mainly distributed in south and southwest of China.References and photos of male genitalia and female ovipositor are provided.Checklist of the subfamily Carpophilinae of the world at the end of the paper.New records form China and new taxa are as follows:New record subgenus: Carpophilus(Askpcarpolus)Kirejtshuk,2008 n.rec.?New record species: Carpophilus(Carpophilus)cribratus Murray,1864 n.rec.,Carpophilus(Carpophilus)jelineki Audisio & Kirejtshuk,1988 n.rec.,Carpophilus(Carpophilus)subcalvus Kirejtshuk,1984 n.rec.,Carpophilus(Mythorax)nepos Murray,1864 n.rec.,Carpophilus(Mythorax)pilosellus Motschulsky,1855 n.rec.,Urophorus(Anophorus)feai(Grouvelle,1890)n.rec.,Urophorus(Anophorus)heros(Grouvelle,1892)n.rec.,Urophorus(Anophorus)rubiginosus(Murray,1864)n.rec..New species: Carpophilus(Askocarpolus)apiculus sp.nov,Urophorus(Anophorus)acriprimus sp.nov,Urophhorus(Anophorus)parallelisum sp.nov..The type specimen of the new species are deposited in the Northwest A&F University(NWAFU).
