Intuitionistic fuzzy sets are widely used in the field of fuzzy multi-attribute decision making by increasing the hesitation degree function and compensating for the limitations of classical and fuzzy sets in depicting fuzzy information. At present, some achievements have been made in the theory and application of intuitionistic fuzzy sets, but there are still many problems that need to be solved. The study of intuitionistic fuzzy sets in this dissertation can provide a certain theoretical basis for the fuzzy multi-attribute decision-making,which has a certain theoretical value and practical significance. The main works are as follows:Firstly, this thesis proposes a new definition to solve the problem that the existing intuitionistic fuzzy entropy formula produces a large difference in partial entropy ranking. An improved formula of intuitionistic fuzzy entropy is given and its properties are studied. On this basis, the improved intuitionistic fuzzy entropy is used to solve multi-attribute decision-making problems, and this method is proved to be effective by the example analysis. Then,a new intuitionistic fuzzy similarity function is proposed in this dissertation to make up for the shortcomings of the existing similarity measures.Combined the entropy method with the maximum deviation method,a linear optimization model is constructed for obtaining the attribute weights.Based on the similarity function and the method for obtaining the attribute weights proposed in this thesis, the intuitionistic fuzzy multi-attribute decision-making method is established, and its effectiveness and feasibility is confirmed by the example analysis. Finally, regarding the intuitionistic fuzzy multi-attribute group decision making problem with incomplete information on attribute weights,a new method on multi-attribute group decision making is established based on the entropy and similarity function proposed in the dissertation. And taking the group decision making of network public opinion emergencies as an example, the empirical analysis verifies the effectiveness and feasibility of this method. With regard to the intuitionistic fuzzy group decision making problem with incomplete information on attribute weights and decision information,an improved nonlinear model on the maximum comprehensive prospects is built based on the prospect theory,TOPSIS and gray correlation analysis method, which results in a new group decision making method proposed, and the numerical analysis shows that the method is effective in practice.
