In modern medicine,microsurgery,such as oral and eye microsurgery,needs small volume,large light spot and good lighting effect.Single mode fiber is widely used as transmission medium in this kind of microscope lighting system with its unique advantages.There is a strict requirement for the divergence angle of optical fiber output in the coaxial lighting and inclined lighting of the microscope lighting system.Therefore,the optical fiber quality needs to be detected in the actual optical fiber processing.It is necessary to study and design a low cost,high efficiency and high precision beam quality automatic detection system,which is low cost,high efficiency and high precision,so as to detect the divergence angle of single mode fiber quickly.Based on the above problems,an automatic quality parameter detection system for single-mode optical fiber is designed and studied in this paper.Based on the above problems,an automatic detection system of single mode optical fiber quality parameters is designed and studied in this paper.The main research work is as follows:(1)On the basis of the analysis of the requirements of the automatic detection system and the characteristics of the optical fiber detection system and the requirements of the optical fiber quality detection parameters,the overall design scheme of the automatic detection system for the single mode optical fiber quality parameters is given.(2)The electric platform of single-mode optical fiber detection is built,and the hardware part of the automatic detection system of single mode optical fiber quality parameters is designed and implemented.The system includes the selection of the electrically controlled displacement stage,the optical fiber clamp and the surface array detector.The controller in the automatic detection system is designed,including the power module,the main control circuit module,the stepper motor drive module and the heat dissipation module.The main control circuit module adopts STM32F407 as the control core,and designs the smallest system,power supply module,Joint Test Action Group(JTAG)interface,serial communication module and input and output module.LV8731 chip is used to design stepping motor drive circuit.(3)The software of automatic detection system for single mode optical fiber quality parameters is studied and realized.It includes main program,bottom module,communication protocol,limit detection module,spot position detection module,displacement module,optical path calibration module and divergence angle detection.The limit detection module and spot position detection module to protect the equipment,avoid the equipment is damaged during the adjustment.Based on the five segment S curve plus deceleration algorithm,the speed control strategy of the stepper motor is designed to improve the speed of the motor and reduce the vibration and noise of the motor.The experimental results show that the automatic detection of single mode fiber is realized by the system.The average detection time is 9 minutes,and the accuracy of the system error is less than 2%.
