With the exploitation of offshore petroleum resources, submarine pipelines are laid more and more on the seabed with complex topography and move towards to the deep sea.In order to avoid the wax solidification with low temperature blocking the submarine pipelines, the petroleum needs to be transported under the condition of HT/HP.This makes the submarine pipelines prone to buckling failure, threatens the safety of the pipeline operation.Topography of seabed and pipline-soil coupling have influences on the buckling of the submarine pipline. Therefore,it is of great significance to study the buckling of submarine pipelines under the condition of HT/HP and pipline-soil coupling. In this paper, research status at home and abroad on the buckling of submarine pipeline under the condition of HT/HP and pipline-soil coupling are summarized.Engineering example is calculated by using the classical theory analytical method. This paper gets some valuable buckling rules which can guide the numerical simulation. The pipeline-soil model is simulated by using ABAQUS software. The calculation results are compared with the experimental and theoretical results of foreign scholars, and the practicability of the simulation method is verified. The buckling analysis of three types pipline-soil finite element model are simulated. The displacement and Mises stress of pipeline-soil under the analysis steps are gained. The change rule which the vertical, horizontal buckling displacement and Mises stress of pipline vary with the temperature difference is researched. The effect of vertical buckling on horizontal buckling is proposed. The parameters sensitivity of pipeline under the condition of HT/HP and pipline-soil coupling are studied, including friction coefficient, initial imperfection amplitude, diameter thickness of pipe, penetration depth, soil cohesion and internal friction angle of soil. The displacement amplitude and Mises stress of pipeline buckling are analyzed. The buckling results of different parameters are compared.
